I'm grateful for the opportunity to have a forever family. One thing I really have been hoping for is being sealed to all of my children. One of my adopted kids was previously sealed to her family whom adopted her when she was very young. So we haven't had the chance to be sealed to her. She has also struggled with the church in the past and being sealed hasn't been a priority to her. Over the past few months I have thought a lot about being sealed to her but haven't really talked to her about it. About a week ago she brought up the idea of being sealed to us. My heart was melted. It meant so much to me just by her saying she wanted to look into it. And it's funny because I've been thinking a lot about it lately but have kept it to myself. Seriously, the Lord works in mysterious ways. Now I'm not sure if it will be possible for my daughter to be sealed to us due to her already being sealed to her previous parents But the fact that she wants to be sealed to us makes my heart happy. And that alone was enough for me. I know things will work itself out when the time comes.
I want to testify that being in tune with God, you see blessings that are right in front of your face!
I watched this video of a man who left the church for several years but found his way back into it. He talks about his story. It was amazing and my heart felt the spirit as I watched it. And made me realize the blessings I have. (I'll try to post a link to his video down below for those who want to watch it).
I have 1 child who doesn't really believe in the church at all. In fact I don't think God is even an option. It breaks my heart and I pray everyday for hearts to be soften and eyes to be opened. Because I am sealed to this child and I want the blessings poured with all of my kids. I continue to pray for all of my kids to find God and truth to his power and love for all of us. AND returning home to him.
